SISU means PERSE-VERANCE
I’ve never been able to relate to the Finnish “SISU” - the word for that grit, the undying determinations that is so deeply embedded in the Finnish psyche.
A few months ago, I had a motor-sports accident and broke the L1 vertebrae in my back. The road to recovery gave me forced time off the road. But that’s when the ideas and creativity started coming!
I began making dramatic SISU themed videos as a joke, but then I actually started to find the SISU inside myself. Acting like I had SISU gave me SISU. So that’s the theme of the next tour.
SISU means perseverance. And the word “perse” means “ass” in Finnish.
Now that’s some good ass merch, wouldn’t you say?
